Light a tealight underneath and the warmth gently melts wax or heats oil in the dish above, filling the room with fragrance. They look good on a shelf, windowsill or table even when they're not in use.

How to use

• Wax melts: place one or two pieces in the dish. No water is needed.
• Oils: add a little water to the dish, then a few drops of fragrance or essential oil.
• Light an unscented tealight underneath. Let the wax cool before changing scents.

Safety
Use unscented tealights only, and never leave a burner unattended. Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from curtains and decorations, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Remove lid when in use.
